Perfect weekend for Schnitzer Classic at the Nürburgring Classic.
In the rainy free practice session, Yannik set the pace in the BMW E36 STW right from the start and led the timesheets.
The same picture was seen in qualifying, which became a tire lottery due to drying conditions. While other drivers switched to slick tires, Yannik stayed on rain tires and secured pole position for race 1.
Ralph Bahr also performed very well and achieved a strong 7th place on the grid in his class.
In the first race, Yannik defended his lead from the start and celebrated a dominant overall victory in the BMW E36 STW.
Ralph also showed a very strong race. From 7th on the grid in the class, he moved up to second place. After a tough fight, he crossed the finish line in a strong fourth place in the STW class.
After pole position and victory in the first race, Yannik secured another overall victory in the second race.
This brings a perfect race weekend to an end.
Ralph Bahr skipped Sunday’s race due to a family commitment.
