Schnitzer Classic looks back on another successful race weekend.

As part of the Belmot Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, the third round of the Tourenwagen Golden Era Championship took place, along with an additional Super Touring Car Revival featuring two special races.

Representing Schnitzer Classic were Łukasz Rawecki in the BMW E90 WTCC and Ralph Bahr in the BMW E36 STW.

Łukasz Rawecki delivered two strong races in the Tourenwagen Golden Era Championship, finishing second in the WTCC class on both occasions – and even placing in the top 10 overall in Race 2. A post-race time penalty, however, dropped the fast Pole back one position in the class standings.

Ralph Bahr focused on the two special races of the Super Touring Car Revival. Driving the 1996 BMW E36 STW – once piloted by touring car legend Johnny Cecotto in the Italian championship – he likewise finished second in class twice and achieved a sensational fifth place overall in Race 2.

Drivers and team take plenty of positive impressions and experience into the second half of the season.

The next round of the Tourenwagen Golden Era Championship takes place in late August at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
