Class victory and overall podium with the BMW M3 GT2

14 years after BMW finished third in the 24-hour race in Spa with the M3 GT2, it was time for our BMW M3 GT2 to compete in the Endurance Racing Legends race for GT cars from the 90s, 2000s and 2010s at the 100th anniversary of the Spa 24-hour race.

The BMW M3 GT2 worked perfectly from the very beginning.
The event began directly with the qualifying session, in which Yannik mainly focused on getting used to the car. He eventually secured second place on the grid in the GT2 class and 16th place overall in the field of more than 50 GT1, GT2 and GT3 cars.
In the race, Yannik successively worked his way forward from the start and took victory in the GT2 class after 40 minutes and even made it onto the overall podium in third place in the BMW M3 GT2 behind the victorious Panoz GT1 and Lamborghini Murcielago GT1.
